HP has recently realised its accomplishment of HyperX peripherals, leaving Kingston with its gaming memory division in indigence of a late name. After more or less serious soul searching, and probably some very expensive market inquiry, it has some new branding on the way: Capital of Jamaica Fury.

They've even gone and produced a swanky television of the untested logotype, which looks comparable IT could be seen flashing on a hoarding in Cyberpunk 2077.

This late branding will embody applied to both its gaming memory and gaming SSDs, although insofar it looks like but the gambling Ram down has seen the memoranda. Course, it could mean that its SSD division is waiting to use the new Fury brand connected new drives—maybe we'll see its awesomely named Wraith Tree SSDs exercise it?

If Kingston Fury seems somewhat familiar, that's because Capital of Jamaica has secondhand the Fury name before although previously under the HyperX banner. So not that much of a leap then. Information technology does feel a little complete the top for a whole component brand, but we'll probably get put-upon to it precise quickly.

Kingston Fury wish be used for Desktop PC memory, with the Beast and Renegade sub-brands appearing shortly. Connected the laptop computer side, the Kingston Fury Impact SODIMMs volition be doing the rounds.

Kingston has been a solid go-to mark for memory over the years, and the underlying technology won't change much, if in the least, so information technology should be all good going forward.

A inexperient brand could give Kingston the opportunity to reinvent itself a bit, and maybe crack aft the enthusiast gamers even more. With DDR5 on the horizon and mint of performance to be had from DDR4 still, IT seems like a fresh time for Capital of Jamaica, nay Capital of Jamaica Fury, to refocus its efforts.

He fondly remembers the killer combo of a Matrox Millenium and 3dfx Voodoo, and seeing Lara Croft in 3D for the first sentence. He's very gladsome hardware has advanced as so much As it has though, and is in particular happy when putting the latest M.2 NVMe SSDs, AMD processors, and laptops through their paces. Atomic number 2 has a long-ineradicable Magic: The Gathering obsession but limits this to MTG Domain these days.
